New Lite version of Email Verification widget available now
We’re excited to announce a new feature that many of our customers have been asking for: the Lite version of our email verification service. This new option is perfect for those who need a quick, efficient way to check email addresses without waiting the usual 3-4 seconds for a complete verification.
Why We Created the Lite Feature
At Addressfinder, we value customer feedback and always strive to improve our services based on your needs. While our full email verification service is thorough and reliable, we understand that there are times when the additional seconds required for a complete check can impact the user experience. For instance, when a form captures the email address in the final field before submission, a slow verification response will delay the submission and the customer could disengage.
What Makes the Lite Version Different?
The new Lite version of our email verification service executes in less than 1 second for most users. It achieves this speed by skipping the SMTP connection check, while still performing essential email format verification and domain name checks. This ensures that you get a quick validation without compromising on the basic accuracy of the email address.

When to Use the Lite Version
The Lite version is ideal for scenarios where speed is crucial and any delays in the verification process could negatively impact the user experience.
When the email is being captured on a form that also captures other data at the same time (for example, address, phone, etc), we suggest you complete a full verification as this can be performed while the user populates the other fields. In this instance, the longer verification time is less noticeable as the user is occupied with filling out other fields.
